Niner Rip 9 RDO 2-Star 27.5 SX Eagle - Satin Carbon / Medium
The 2022 Niner RIP 9 RDO is a trail / enduro mountain bike designed for aggressive trail riding, big hits, and steep, technical descents — while still pedaling efficiently uphill. Built around a lightweight yet durable RDO carbon frame, this version is a mid-level spec that gives you serious capability without the ultra premium price tag.
With 27.5-inch wheels all around, the RIP 9 RDO is designed to be nimble through tight terrain, yet stable and capable when things get rowdy. The suspension platform delivers 140 mm rear travel paired with a 150 mm front fork, offering a good balance of small-bump compliance and big hit performance. The geometry is modern with slack head angle, low bottom bracket drop (adjustable), and a flip-chip rocker link to tune handling to your trail preference.
Component-wise, it uses SRAM’s Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, reliable brakes, and quality suspension bits from FOX. It comes fitted with tubeless-ready Maxxis tires and a dropper seatpost to keep you in the action when the trail variable changes on the fly.
Though listed as “discontinued” on the site, it was marketed at US $4,999 when new, and can still be of interest to riders seeking high-spec performance in an older model or aftermarket purchase.
